Giving Tree Mission
The Giving Tree Foundation empowers children to serve with their hands and give with their hearts.
At times it can be daunting to figure out a good way to inspire our children to serve. The Giving Tree is a simple, yet effective tool that provides your children and family with the opportunity to help in a very tangible and creative way. Families who join the Giving Tree make ornaments out of pine-cones, acorns, horse-chestnuts, and wooden discs, all from "giving trees". This is such a fun way to create one of a kind ornaments, to raise money, and then to give to children in need. This is a service you will be able to look back on, and then see and feel how your family has grown together and how you have made a difference in the lives of children in need.
The Giving Tree is all about "kids helping kids".
